Congratulations to our 2022 DSD I and DSD II Sprachdiplom Recipients

Certificates Awarded on Sept. 17th, 2022 at the Los Angeles Turner's Museum in Torrance, CA

This exceptional group of students who passed the DSD I and DSD II language exams, accepted their certificates during a ceremony at the Los Angeles Turner’s Museum in Torrance, CA on Sept. 17th, 2022.

On hand to present the certificates were (from left to right) Vice Consul of the German Consulate Los Angeles, Johanna Hinkel; Deputy Consul of the German Consulate Los Angeles, Dirk Schulz; (in the back) GASA President, Rita Reiff; and Language Consultant from the Central Office for Schools Abroad (ZfA), Susanne Dreyer.

Unfortunately, many other certificate recipients were unable to attend that day.

Violinist Maximilian Matsu made our certificate celebration memorable by playing “Melodie” by Christopf Willibald Gluck from the 1762 opera Orfeo Ed Euridice.

About Us

Multilingualism is the norm in most of the world and we believe that children who speak and write more than one language will be better prepared for life in the 21st century with its growing global economy. The best way to master another language is to start learning at an early age.
