I was born and raised nearby Cologne, Germany and have been living in California for almost 20 years with my husband and my two sons.
I started working for GASA as a German preschool assistant in Kinderland Glendale from 2012 to 2014. In 2014 I joined the Saturday School in Temple City to teach Unterstufe 1. I am currently teaching a multi-level class ages 4-8.
I have been working at Glendale Unified School District at the German Flag Program at Roosevelt Middle School and Benjamin Franklin Elementary School as an assistant teacher. I prepared students for the A2 and B1 test.
I’m also the newly appointed school director for Kinderland Glendale for ages 3-5.
I love to share my knowledge about German traditions and enjoy teaching children in the German language by reading books, singing German songs, doing crafts, playing games and little performances.
My motto is: Learning should be fun!!!
Multilingualism is the norm in most of the world and we believe that children who speak and write more than one language will be better prepared for life in the 21st century with its growing global economy. The best way to master another language is to start learning at an early age.
GASA admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.
