A diverse program, starting from Kindergarten up to C1-AP Immersion classes. Many class options 2 x a week for 2 hours each day,

8 students minimum per class required.
6 students minimum required for C1-AP Immersion class.

Each class will be engaging with different themes and topics to keep the students motivated in a fun learning environment.

New this session:
German – Cooking / Baking class (4 Saturdays)
Ages 8 and up!    Basic knowledge in German required

Cook and bake with us some German dishes and desserts. Learn some German and have fun eating your creations afterwards.

Chef Wolfgang Gussmack and Lara Sanders will teach you how to cook German delicacies, while Silvia and Robin Doelker will show you how to bake some German Desserts. Classes will be conducted over Zoom and students will be required to purchase the ingredients before class to follow along. The necessary list of ingredients will be sent in advance.

We offer new this session:

2 Kindergarten classes 3 times a week for 1 hour instruction per zoom ages 4-6 years

1 beginning German class 2 times a week for 2 hours each ages 9-13

Many class options 2 x a week for 2 hours each day, a diverse program, starting from Kindergarten up to C1-AP Immersion classes.

6 students minimum required for C1-AP Immersion class.

Each class will be engaging with different themes and topics to keep the students motivated in a fun learning environment.

We even offer a special class which teaches the fundamental elements of debate, learn to reason, listen, make your voice heard, ask critical questions, learn to negotiate and have respectful discussions.

“Jugend debattiert” is a distinguished German language debate program and competition, organized under the guardianship of the German President and supported by the ZFA (Zentral Agency for German Schools Abroad).

Students have the opportunity to compete against other German Schools. The competition starts regional (Bay Area), goes to a state competition (the US finals planned in November) to a federal competition in Germany. The best debaters meet in Berlin every year.

Teacher training is required to be a “Jugend debattiert” teacher and facilitator. GASA is proud to be a “Jugend debattiert” school.
